Ananya Panday wants us to believe love triangles aren’t always bad and having watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, we have to agree

The cast of Student of the Year 2 has us intrigued. While the first film, in what now seems like a franchise, featured all newcomers – Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, the second film stars an already popular Tiger Shroff. However, the actresses are both debutantes – Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. Well, we would be lying if we said we don’t have our eyes glued to them to watch as to how do they perform. But we don’t have complaints about their social media game so far. Especially, Ananya’s. The star kid is quite clued in as to what the audience would want to see from her even before she makes her debut. But not only does she posts stuff about herself, she is also trying to let the audience see what they are doing on the sets of her debut film. This is certainly exciting because it is a newbie’s perspective into Bollywood. Take for example her recent Insta post. Ananya took to the photo-sharing site to share an image of herself posing with her co-stars, Tiger and Tara. In the caption, she wrote, “Love triangles aren’t always a bad thing ❤️👩🏻🎓 (missing u @punitdmalhotra )” Well, so now we know that SOTY 2 will be a love triangle much like the first film of the franchise. However, we didn’t need Ananya to tell us that love triangles aren’t bad. Many of Karan Johar’s films have led us into believing that already. Take Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or even Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for example – all heart-wrenching stories. We certainly do hope that SOTY2 too manages to impress us just like the other films did.
