BARC Report, week 23 2018: Naagin 3 takes humongous opening, becomes No.1 show with 16 million plus impressions pan-India

Everyone was keenly awaiting the numbers for Naagin 3. Now, they are finally here and they are far more staggering than what we were hoping for. The show is an outright topper in the urban charts. It has 10.8 million impressions viewership in urban and semi-urban areas. The weekend soap has left behind other fiction shows like Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya by more than three million impressions. In the rural segment, it is also on the second spot. TV viewing audiences in the villages have given a huge thumbs up to the show, which has garnered a viewership of 5.7 million impressions viewership. This is a huge high for the show. Naagin 3 was launched with huge fanfare. It is one of the best promoted shows of recent times and a successful franchise show. Now, we are coming to the pan-India viewership of Naagin 3, which is 16.54 million impressions viewership. This season had a new star cast in form of Karishma Tanna, Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri and Anita Hassanandani. In fact, a lot of congratulations have come pouring in on Twitter for Anita who plays the sassy and glamorous Vishaka Khanna on the show. People are loving her as the avenging shape-shifting snake woman. The show’s promo was launched in January and it has been in the news since then. Well, we have to see how it sustains its success!
