Megastar Rajinikanth to star in AR Murugadoss’ next?

It seems that Thalaivar Rajinikanth is in no mood to take rest. Generally the actor prefers to do one film in three years but now Rajini has fasten up his gears. Post wrapping Kaala, the 67-year old has recently started the shooting Karthik Subbaraj in Uttarakhand. Now as per the sources, the megastar has met filmmaker AR Murugadoss to discuss the story of their next. The sources also suggests that Rajinikanth has liked the script and will soon start the film after he wraps up Subbaraj’s directorial venture.

Talking about Karthik Subbaraj’s film, it will also star Vijay Sethupati of Vikram Vedha fame in a key role. The actor will reportedly portray a lead antagonist in the untitled next. With this deadly combo, we are expecting the untitled venture to set a new benchmark in the Tamil cinema. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Talking about AR Murugadoss, who has also delivered Bollywood films like Ghajini and Holiday is currently working with Vijay which is tentatively titled Thalapathy 62. Talking about Rajinikanth, the actor is currently basking the success of Kaala. The film also stars Nana Patekar, Sampath, Sayaji Shinde and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. The actor will be next seen in director Shankar’s 2.0. The film marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar and also features Amy Jackson in a pivotal role. Made on a budget of over Rs 400 crore, the science fiction venture is one of the costliest Indian films.
